Department of State Registration
GMS Corporation is a registered Department of State Exporter. GMS’ export team ensures compliance with all items governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and ensures receipt of applicable Department of State licenses before shipping to international end users.
Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) Licenses

GMS Corporation maintains a thorough export compliance program. A key in determining whether an export license is needed from the Department of Commerce is knowing whether the item intended for export has a specific Export Control Classification Number (ECCN). GMS works closely with its OEM partners to properly identify classifications for aerospace products intended for export. GMS utilizes bulk Commerce export licenses to ensure and simplify compliance and expedite delivery to our customers.
