Manage Supplier Relationships

GMS and its OEM partners routinely and periodically participate in programmatic reviews, sales reporting, market transparency, and customer trends analysis, enabling its partners to focus their resources on strategic customer engagement. Our OEM partners retain and advance their status as premier suppliers of aerospace and defense products and systems.

Obsolescence Management Mitigation

GMS engineers collaborating with GMS’s OEM partners offer Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) and Obsolescence Management Mitigation (OMM) services and solutions.

GMS works with end users to identify gaps in supply chain and material shortages as a result of existing or planned product obsolescence.  After identifying the supply chain challenges, GMS coordinates with our OEM partners to provide solutions that include last-time buys, licensing referrals, equivalent part substitution and/or data rights acquisition.

Proactive Marketing and Sales initiatives

GMS Corporation builds strong international and domestic market knowledge, analyzing buying patterns at individual and macro levels. GMS engages buyers on a daily basis for both after-market and new production requirements. GMS bundles multi-customer requirements to drive revenue “now”, versus later. GMS leverages its small business status and passes savings on to its OEM partners.

Repair Management
GMS exercises the utmost care when contracted to repair or overhaul our customers’ assets. GMS utilizes our network of OEM partners, our OEM-partners’ approved Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities as well as qualified MRO-sources to ensure our customers’ assets are repaired or overhauled in accordance with the latest procedures and technical orders. GMS contracts only with qualified sources ensuring the highest level of quality assurance, OEM-sourced and traceable parts and supplies thereby ensuring the most qualitative work and maximum asset in-service time.
